Tamie Frets joined Beacon Wealth Consultants in June 2025 as Operations Manager. In this role, she oversees the firm’s internal operations, ensuring smooth day-to-day functions, improving workflow efficiencies, and supporting the team in delivering a client experience rooted in excellence, care, and integrity.
Tamie brings more than a decade of leadership experience in the financial services industry. Throughout her career, she has served in various management roles at several of the nation’s largest banks. Her background includes branch and business banking leadership, team development, risk management, and client relationship strategy. She is known for her ability to coach high-performing teams, foster a culture of accountability and service, and build strong partnerships with clients and community members alike.
Tamie has a passion for helping individuals, families, and business owners navigate complex financial decisions—particularly those involving long-term planning. She is especially drawn to supporting families who have loved ones with special needs and is always looking for ways to expand her knowledge and skillset to best serve this growing population.
Originally from Maryland, Tamie earned a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Radford University. Having recently relocated from Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, with her husband David and their three children, she is excited to once again call Virginia home.
Tamie and her family have been shaped by their journey as parents with children on the autism spectrum—a path that has drawn them closer to God and inspired a calling to walk alongside other families facing similar challenges. While in South Carolina, she was active in her church’s special needs ministry and is excited to continue that involvement in her new community.
Outside of work, Tamie is a creative spirit who enjoys hands-on design and artistic expression, including upcycling furniture, jewelry and clothing design, candle making, and experimenting with new materials and techniques. She also loves the outdoors—whether it’s gardening, hiking, or exploring new activities and destinations with her family.
Tamie is excited to be part of a mission-driven team that integrates faith with financial wisdom and is passionate about equipping others to be faithful stewards of the resources God has entrusted to them.
