The Beacon Wealth Consultants Internship Program
The Beacon Wealth Consultants Internship Program is an opportunity for financial planning college students and recent graduates to use their education and skills to help Christian families steward their finances well, plan for the future, and invest in a biblically responsible way.
Young financial planners will experience the diverse workings of a faith-based financial planning and investing firm and be a part of a team helping Christians align their finances with their faith values.

What you’ll learn about and assist with:
- The financial planning process at a boutique firm – from paperwork, to client meetings, to crafting financial plans.
- Biblically responsible investing and how Christian investment managers evaluate funds for portfolio construction.
- The administrative backbone of a financial planning firm – such as compliance, document management, inbound marketing, advertising, and many other aspects.
Requirements
The internship requires a passion for faith-based investing and growing knowledge of comprehensive financial planning. Applicants should have a keen interest in financial planning and providing exceptional service to clients. Other application requires include:
- Junior or Senior pursuing a degree in Financial Planning (or recent graduate)
- Willing to live in or commute to Roanoke during the internship
- Teachable disposition with a can-do attitude
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Demonstrates ownership of tasks and projects
