Cynthia E. Best (Cindy) is a Wealth Advisor in the Melbourne, FL area on Florida’s Space Coast. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology at Valdosta State University in 1979 and went on to serve a four-year stint as one of the first female aircraft maintenance officers in the United States Air Force. In 1983, Cindy voluntarily separated from active duty to become a full-time mom and homemaker. After she and her husband, Tom, raised five children (all of whom went on serve in some capacity in the U.S. Armed Forces), Cindy first entered the financial services arena in 2007, becoming a broker relations team member with a pioneering investment firm specializing in Biblically Responsible Investing (BRI).
In 2009, Cindy was recruited by a BRI firm to serve as their Director of Business Development, supporting financial advisors nationwide to help them integrate the use of fee based BRI investment portfolios into their practices. As a Wealth Advisor, Cindy enjoys “telling the BRI story,” with the goal of inspiring investors to genuinely align their investments with their deeply held values. Cindy’s husband, Tom, is a retired Air Force lieutenant colonel who is also a Wealth Advisor with Beacon Wealth Consultants. Together, Tom and Cindy are active volunteers with Nana’s House, a Christian ministry in West Melbourne, FL whose mission is to provide foster care for children in need.
